Leftover food

And made me wonder what this community doing about leftover food ?

Personally, I learned to cook for the people in the family, if the recipe calls for 4 portion I’ll do the math and bring it to our number 5 plus one. You never know if somebody will come knocking at your door for some food. [It’s an old habit we have in my family for years, and I plan on keeping it]

If I have leftovers, I will either make a soup out of them, or a big selection platter for lunch time, or if it’s a lot I’m freezing them.

What about you ?
