Rummaging to resell?

Hello everyone!

My husband and I are trying to save up a fund for unforeseen expenses, etc. I really want to take a vacation next summer and he says that if we have enough saved after all of our bills are paid and everything is taken care of, we can.

With that said, he’s started a new “hobby” with one of his co-workers. They will go out on their lunch breaks and some weekends to rummage sales and try to find things to resell at a higher price. So far he’s bought an old Playstation and PS2, a very old SEGA game and a Mitutoyo Macrometer.

Does anybody else know of other items that re-sell well? From having my own rummage sales in the past, I know I’ve probably sold people things for cheap and then they probably turned around and listed it on Ebay.
