Flavoured Water Additives – A Cheaper Way to Flavour Your Water?

I have been finding recently that with my more active lifestyle that I have started that I am drinking a lot more water, naturally.

The problem I am finding is that I don’t always like to drink just plain water, but buying mineral water, or bottled flavoured water from the store is way to expensive for me right now.

So I have been buying Crystal Light to put into my water, which I absolutely love. Not only is it good cold, but you can heat it up too and it’s wonderful.

My question is, is there a cheaper way of getting the same effect for flavouring your water, because Crystal Light is expensive, especially for the amount you get. I have been buying the single serving packets. But I was thinking of buying the pitcher packets and just separating it out at home and putting water into a reusable water bottle… it might be cheaper this way.

However, if there was a even cheaper way of doing this I would definitely like to know. It’s just getting to darn expensive, and I don’t really want to have to go with just plain water (although I will if there is no alternative).

Any suggestions?
